Success is defined differently for different people. However, if you have proceeded a bit from your original place, consider it as a blessing. You are successful.

When I started this blog, I thought it would be my peace zone. I thought I would write and post my research ideas once in a while. I expected only my friends, family, and at the most, my students to read my posts. But the widespread of Eco-Fun-Omics readers make me overwhelmed. Ecofunomics is not just a website for blog posts it is a company. Ecofunomics today is recognized under the MCA, MHE, DPIIT (Government of India).
Success Mantra 1: Consistency
This mantra applies in every field. You still have the probability of success if you are still trying. It is easy to get demotivated, change lanes (as in trying too many things), and finally give up. The point if you are on the battlefield, you need to fight. If you stop fighting, you will never be victorious. Keep trying… Don’t give up.
Success is not final; failure is not fatal.
It is the courage to continue that counts.
-Winston S. Churchill
Success Mantra 2: Priority
Prioritize every action. Prioritize your full-time job, your part-time work, hobby, pleasure, and everything else. If you want to run a business successfully, have a place in your time-table, even the most insignificant things. Prioritizing things along with a time-table gives you a heads up regarding all tasks (how big or small). It will help you to stay focused and planned.
Excellence is never an accident.
It is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, and intelligent execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives – choice, not chance, determines your destiny.
– Aristotle
Success Mantra 3: Time Management
I can prepare a whole article on how I manage my time. But for this article, I will share the only one which I consider is the most crucial. Many may consider me antisocial or introverted. However, It is me who chose to stay so. I prefer fewer people in my life. The lesser the number, the lower is the wastage of time socializing with them. The lesser the number of people in your life, the better is the quality. They will understand you, give you importance, disturb you mentally less. Hence help you to stay happy and productive. Don’t waste your energy on useless, and negative people.
The energy of mind is the essence of life.
– Aristotle

Success Mantra 4: Comparison
Compare with your previous self, last year, or old work. But never-ever compare your progress or success to that of others. It will hinder your growth.
To avoid criticism,
Say nothing, Do nothing, BE NOTHING
– Aristotle
Success Mantra 5: No Frienemy
Remember when you are thriving for success, especially in your career or professional field:
‘Neither keep friends nor make enemies. It’s a single man show.
Friends will use you. Enemies will slow you.’
Learn to keep it professional. You smile, you nod, you shake hands (in COVID days, namaste is preferred). But remember people are not your friends, just professional acquaintances.
If you don’t like someone, you are not supposed to get in a fight (cold or steaming hot). You part your ways in a decent, calm, and polite manner.
Professional is not a label you give yourself.
It is a description you hope others will apply to you.
–David Maister
