Job Opening: Data Analytics, Statistics, and Basic Econometrics Teacher
Ecofunomics LLP is looking for a passionate and dynamic teacher to join our team and impart knowledge on key statistical and econometric software, including EXCEL, STATA, SPSS, R-Studio, EViews, and more. - Job Type: Part-Time/Contractual
- Clients: Undergraduate colleges with students pursuing: BSc, BA, BBA, or BCom (General and Honors)
- Fee: ₹350 – ₹500 per hour, 30 hours course.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach core concepts in statistics and basic econometrics using software tools like EXCEL, STATA, SPSS, R-Studio, EViews, etc.
- Conduct both online and offline classes, maintaining a balance between theory and practical applications.
- Create engaging and easy-to-understand lessons that foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Help students understand the software’s application in real-world economic analysis.
- Maintain a peaceful classroom decorum and ensure a smooth learning experience for all students.
Skill Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree in any subject, preferably in Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Software Knowledge: Proficiency in at least one or more of the following: EXCEL, STATA, SPSS, R-Studio, and EViews.
- Certification: A valid certificate or accreditation in the respective software is mandatory.
Desired Attitude and Qualities:
- A teacher who can connect with young learners, creating a friendly and approachable atmosphere.
- Should not be overly strict or adamant but firm enough to maintain order and respect in the classroom.
- Ability to maintain a quiet and peaceful classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Comfortable conducting classes in both online and offline formats.
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
