Ecofunomics Skill Development Winter Wonderlane brought both excitement and meaningful learning to Loreto College, engaging students through a variety of interactive games and activities. Dr. Sumedha Verma personally approached Ecofunomics to join the Winter Wonderlane as the primary sponsor for skill development, recognizing the value we could bring to the students. The team seamlessly combined skill development, fun, and practical learning, ensuring that every participant had an enjoyable and enriching experience. The Principal, Sr. Nirmala, was visibly delighted with our involvement and welcomed us warmly, adding a special touch of encouragement and support to the event.
A Colorful and Engaging Stall at Winter Wonderlane
The Ecofunomics team decorated their stall in a festive Christmas theme, making it warm, attractive, and inviting. While many other stalls were present, Ecofunomics stood out because of its engaging games and cheerful visual appeal, drawing visitors in and encouraging active participation.

The team was led by Dr. Shreya Roy, and the team consisted of Mr. Sumon Banerjee, Ms. Ankita Singh, Ms. Humsha Zahir, and Ms. Sweta Mehta, each playing an active role in guiding participants and coordinating activities.
Interactive Games at Skill Development Winter Wonderlane
The stall featured four engaging games designed to combine fun with skill learning:
- Mind Match – Participants were given 1 minute to carefully observe and memorize images, followed by 30 seconds to answer related questions. The order of answers was not mandatory. Those who answered 10 or more questions correctly became eligible for a lucky draw with assured gifts, while others received participation gifts. The fastest participant to answer all images correctly was declared the winner.
- Colour Quest – Players had 30 seconds to sort and separate 10 beads of each colour correctly. Completing the task within the time qualified them for a lucky draw, while incomplete attempts still earned participation gifts. The participant who accurately finished in the least time was declared the winner.
- Stack Attack – Participants replicated a displayed stacking pattern by arranging cups within 30 seconds. Those finishing within the time were eligible for the lucky draw, while others received participation gifts. The winner was the person who completed the pattern accurately in the shortest time.
- StatSprint – Contestants identified and named displayed graphs within 30 seconds. Getting 5 correct answers qualified them for the lucky draw, while fewer correct answers earned participation gifts. The participant with the most correct answers in the least time was declared the winner.
These games challenged participants’ memory, speed, coordination, and analytical skills, encouraging active learning through fun and interactive competition.
Rewards and Participation Gifts
All participants received gifts to appreciate their efforts, regardless of winning. Winners were selected via a lucky draw, adding excitement and motivation.

Everyone received gifts, and unique bookmarks were also given to participants, encouraging full engagement and ensuring maximum participation and enjoyment.
Handbook Distribution to Faculty
Alongside the games, the team distributed the Ecofunomics handbook to college faculties. The handbook provides insights into skill development, economics, and practical applications, supporting both teaching and student learning.
The faculties appreciated the gesture and showed keen interest in using the handbook as a reference for future collaborations. This initiative strengthened the connection between Ecofunomics and the college.
