Days 1 & 3: Offline Sessions (16th & 23rd Nov 2024)

Registration and Welcome: Participants were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm, setting the tone for a productive workshop.

Primary Surveys: A Comprehensive Guide: Prof. Bibek Ray Chaudhuri (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) provided a deep dive into conducting robust primary surveys.
Building Your Model: A Guide to Secondary Data: Prof. Simontini Das (Jadavpur University) illustrated the process of utilizing secondary data effectively.
Paper Perfection: The Art of Writing a Research Paper: Prof. Ranajoy Bhattacharyya (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) guided participants in crafting well-structured and impactful research papers.

Days 2 & 4: Online Sessions (17th & 24th Nov 2024)

AI-Powered Research and Paper Writing: Prof. Archana Pandita (Amity University, Dubai) explored the transformative role of AI in research.
From Raw Data to Insights: A Guide to Data Analysis: Prof. Anurag Asawa (Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics) shared practical techniques for extracting meaningful insights from data.
SPSS: A Beginner’s Guide to Statistical Analysis: Dr. Shreya Roy (Director, EcoFunomics & Ph.D., IIFT) provided hands-on training in SPSS for statistical analysis.
Unlocking Insights with Stata: A Crash Course in Data Analysis: Dr. Darpajit Sengupta (NITI Aayog, New Delhi) introduced participants to Stata’s powerful capabilities.
R-Studio: A Gateway to Econometric Analysis: Prof. Jhumur Sengupta (Dinabandhu Andrews College, Calcutta University) conducted an engaging session on econometric analysis using R-Studio.
Closing Ceremony: The workshop concluded with reflections, gratitude, and excitement for future endeavors.
