Earth, 19th July 2020: A hazardous asteroid is approaching Earth.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced the approach of a space rock next week. The space rock is declared Potentially Hazardous Asteroid (PHA) and is classified as a Near-Earth Object (NEO). Asteroid 2020 ND with a diameter of 160 meters, is moving at a speed of 48,000 kilometres per hour and will come within 0.03 astronomical units of the Earth. The asteroid was first observed on July 17, 1945.
NASA, 18th July 2020: NASA crew soon to return to Earth after 2-months orbit’s tour
NASA’s first crew mission comes to an end. The astronauts are expected to return to Earth by 2nd August 2020. US astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley traveled to the International Space Station in SpaceX Falcon 9 capsule on the 30th of May. Bob is preparing for his final spacewalk on 21st July. After the weather check, they will be brought back to Earth.
Two months’ stay in the space is indeed an act of bravery. No wonder they are called the Dragon Crew.
The United States, 17th July 2020: Airline services in America warn retrenchment of 25K workers
The SARS-CoV pandemic has hit the airline sector drastically. Slowing down of the airline services has affected the profit margins of the airline companies. Aiming the budget cut, the airline services warned laying off of 25,000 American employees. The airline demand has dropped by 95% and forecasts don’t show a potential recovery. Under such a scenario cutting out flight attendants, ground workers, mechanics, and pilots seem the only way out.
Nepal, 16th July 2020: Lord Rama draws controversy
Lord Rama, also is known as Ramachandra, managed to draw controversy in the 21st century. Lord Ram is the 7th incarnation of Hindu deity Vishnu. As per Hindu scriptures, he was the king of Ayodhya during the early centuries (as early as the 11th-15th century). Ramayana, a major Sanskrit epic, based on the life of Lord Rama, was authored by Maharishi (Saint) Valmiki. The scripts tell tales belonging to ancient India.
Provoking a potential religious-political controversy, the Nepal Prime Minister PK Sharma Oli, made claims that Lord Rama was a Nepali and not Indian. Nepal trying to justify the words of Mr. Oli, asked for further research in the birth origin of Lord Rama. However, the fact that the epic Ramayana is the base of Hindu mythology, answers the birth origin question of Lord Rama. Hindu mythology needs to rise from the grounds of Hindustan (India).
Tokyo, 15th July 2020: UAE Mars orbiter launched from Japan.
A UAE rocket carrying the Hope spacecraft was launched from Tanegashima Space Center. The launch was delayed by 2 days due to the poor weather conditions in Japan. The unnamed rocket will be the first Arab rocket to orbit around Mars.
Russia, 14th July 2020: Is Russia leading the COVID vaccine race?
As per a Russian news report, Russia is leading the COVID vaccine race. However, the claims are yet not proved. Vaccine human trial or clinical trial needs to clear 3 stages.
Stage 1: The vaccine’s safety and tolerance level are tested on a small group of people.
Stage 2: The immunity is tested on patients for whom the vaccine is intended. In our case, it needs to be tested on corona patients.
Stage 3: The vaccine is then injected to a thousand other people to test its efficacy before passing it to general citizens.
Russia has cleared the stage I or phase I of clinical tests and needs to clear the remaining stages, which require months of observations.
Iran, 13th July 2020: will Iran be quite?
Being bullied by Western countries and suffering from lots of sanctions and duties, will Iran be quite? Will Iran not take any revenge for the death of this top general Qasem Soleimani, who was killed in a drone strike in Baghdad? Iran has started strengthening its defense system and buying weapons to upgrade its defense system. Missiles testing and rigid behavior of Iran on the US may bring the world into a phase of the war. Even the tension in the south china sea can bring difficult situations for the US. China, Iran, and Russia may team up to fight the allied forces.

Mysterious death of Lal Bahadur Shastri
The death-mystery of Lal Bahadur Shastri, the second prime minister of India has kept Indians tangled. Sir Shastri died in Tashkent, USSR in the year 1966 on 11th January. His sudden demise came as a piece of shocking news to most citizens. Medical reports indicated a cardiac arrest of the former Indian prime minister. However, the senior doctor, who attended the corpse first did not sign the death certificate as she believed otherwise. There were claims which stated that Sir Shastri’s body had turned blue due to poison. Proposing suspicious death and foul play, the death mystery still haunts India. When the dead body was brought back to the country, many cuts and openings were observed and yet no post mortem claims were made.
Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti (KGB) one of the most capable confidential information-sharing centers, which translates to the Committee for State Security for Russia, had a lot of supporting documents which answered the mysterious death of Lal Bahadur Shastri. Weak investigation and obscuring of important documents implied the deliberate try to hide facts. Some events also pointed towards a secret meeting of Sir Shastri and Subhash Chandra Bose (Netaji) in Russia. An enigmatic mystery behind the suspicious deaths of Shastri and Netaji. With no proper conclusion, some facts remain mysteries under the shadow of political sovereignty.
